First thing I thought of when I saw the Lapis Lazuli screenshot was this
I mean
They’re both trying to contain something by choosing to be something worse(Lapis containing Jasper+Malachite-as of Chille Tid; Homura containing ze incubators by being the ruler of her self-inflicted hell)
In each of their following scenes they flood whatever room they’re in with whatever they were crying at the moment
Anyway, just comparing here.

Why am I doing this
Okay back to the point; this is Aquamarine, the current birthstone of March. Heliotrope was the former.
Since Aquamarine is often referred to a meditation stone, to receive the wisdom to see truth, apparently, so here’s a bit on the ‘third eye’ motif.
Aquamarine is your generic politician, normally, using words to empower. Fighting method is mainly Cherry Tapping in TV Tropes, which is effective on Heliotrope(another gemsona I did earlier), since Heliotrope has the ability to negate normally 1HKO attacks(due to the ancient use of heliotrope to stop ‘haemorrhages’, which would be fatal).
Also I might have made Aquamarine look a bit…creepy here.

Okay wtf
I haven’t even watched a SINGLE episode of Steven Universe and here I am designing gemsonas on maths paperwork wtf
But have Heliotrope, stone of martyrdom, courage and personal strength. The actual gemstone is on the back of the hand btw, and Heliotrope’s mainly dark inky green in color.
The patches that I’ve outlined are where the red spots are.
Also, she has a patch of heliotrope flowers that she wears on her sidetail which she changes out often.
