Constance’s parents were practicing under the Astral Temple(the DLC one with really cold interior) who fell in love and eventually had him as a kid. But turns out the Temple is extremely strict with ‘do not’s and they were forced to abandon him at an orphanage in somewhere northwest Zofia where he grew up. A nun from the religion of Mila dropped by the orphanage to teach for a few years and he learnt the arts of healing from her, while not having much experience for mage arts.

The rosary he has is actually formed from his parents’: it’s a headcanon that each Astral practitioner has a rosary made from a Star Shard of the zodiac they were born under. It also has their wedding rings on it too.
